CHP Seeks Toy Donations in “CHiPs for Kids” Campaign

Some merchants have offered incentives to motivate their customers to donate a toy

 

The California Highway Patrol is seeking toy donations to help make Christmas morning a memorable one for San Mateo and Santa Clara County children in need.  Some merchants have offered incentives to motivate their customers to donate a toy (see below).  Donations can be made at the locations listed:

Monday through Friday, through December 16th.

Toys-R-Us

Between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Sunday, December 9th and Saturday, December 15th.

Bring your kids to take pictures with the CHP vehicles when you donate a toy.

Offer: Buy a Combo and get a second Combo at 50% off when you donate a new unwrapped toy.

All toys collected through this effort will go to local charities and non-profit organizations for distribution on December 17th.  Any new and unwrapped toy, big or small, is greatly appreciated.  Last year, through the efforts of our community, the Redwood City CHP was able to provide approximately 320 toys to local charities.
