Since 1996 I have been covering Stanford and high school sports for the Palo Alto Weekly. I have also written for The Associated Press, MLB.com, the San Francisco Chronicle Peninsula section and several other publications as a correspondent. The San Carlos Public Library has provided various forms of entertainment, from books to DVDs and CDs. John Steinbeck's body of work helped shape my vision of life and I still consider "Travels with Charley" as one of the finest travel books written. I remain an avid reader of books, magazines and newspapers, with the occasional book on CD for a long road trip. Movies, baseball and museums (yes, I've visited the San Carlos Museum a few times) are a favored way of getting out of the house. Politically I consider myself an independent who strives to consider all sides of an issue and I vote regularly.
