I have flagged @RM and Patch will delete that post unless they really want to show their continuedRead More bias against conservatives.

I have personally watched Pit Bulls maul someone when I was a kid. They were completely unprovokedRead More and escaped their yard to attack a 13yo boy. The three Pit Bulls ripped flesh off of his arms and shredded his face. He nearly died and that owner too swore up and down that the dogs were so nice and had never shown any sign of violence... Those dogs were executed right away and the owner was charged with whatever they could throw at him. I can still see the images in my head and there is no way that Pit Bulls are no different than other breeds. They are built to kill. Period.

I had a friend who had raised a cougar from a cub, he said he never ever had a problem. I open theRead More door of his jeep to get my hat when the cat woke up in the back seat. I managed to get the door shut in time. Anything can happen to a pet.

Absolutely not. It should always be very hard to siphon away more of the people's hard-earned money.Read More Democrats now have an absolute super majority in the State of California - They need absolutely NO input or help from Republicans to pass whatever tax or spending programs that they want. Lets see what they do with this power.

Among all the supporters isn't there one competent attorney who can get an injunction to keep theRead More rink from being destroyed and who can sue SPI Holding, and if necessary the City, to enforce the Master Plan Agreement? A toilet and an astro turf field are useless to ice skaters. I smell something rotten in the Mayor and the City Council's excuses. At least one skater must have a parent or family member who is an attorney with some sense of decency to do the work pro bono.

To close the ice rink is a crime. I had this conversation years ago with Peter Pau, the man whoRead More built it. We need places for children to recreate. When we send them to juvenile hall, we wring our hands and wonder why! No skate board parks in convenient places and now the skating rink. Why are our children the ones to sacrafice?
