San Mateo Collects Care Packages for Adopted Troops

More than 500 pounds of chips, jerky, snack bars, trail mix, magazines, mints, gum, and much more will be put into 71 boxed care packages for the city's adopted troops.

The city of San Mateo is extending its gratitude to its residents, employees and businesses who contributed to care packages for San Mateo’s Adopted Sons of Alpha Company, 1/327 Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division.

More than 500 pounds of chips, jerky, snack bars, trail mix, magazines, mints, gum, and much more will be put into 71 boxed care packages for the city's adopted troops.

The city will collect more items during the month of May to be sent to its adopted troops in June.
