Crystal Springs Rest Stop Set to Reopen
Caltrans hosted a ribbon cutting for the renovated Highway 280 rest area.
Caltrans will reopen the Crystal Springs Rest Area off of Highway 280 in San Mateo County today.
The rest area, which sits along northbound Highway 280 just north of Bunker Hill Road, was closed two years ago for renovations, according to Caltrans.
Among the additions and improvements are ADA-compliant restrooms, fresh landscaping and a new substation for the California Highway Patrol.
