Police Log Nov. 14-17: Fake Money Used at Whole Foods, 'Suspicous' Woman Dances

Monday, Nov. 14, 2011

1:13 a.m. - Attempted Burglary - Damage to the front door lock at 200 Castilian Way indicated an attempted burglary.

11:13 a.m. - Vandalism - Gang graffiti was spotted on a building at 300 Eighth Ave.

11:39 a.m. - Theft - A man about 25 years old with a ponytail and a tan jacket was seen running eastbound on Fourth Avenue after allegedly taking a few jackets from 600 E. Third Ave.

9:22 a.m. - Crash - A head-on crash was reported at Cypress Avenue and North Amphlett Boulevard. No major injuries occurred.

10:19 a.m. - Disturbance - A blond woman in a black jacket came onto the St. Gregory's Catholic Church property at 2700 Hacienda St. and allegedly yelled at staff and pushed a teacher.

12:58 p.m. - Disturbance - A father was spotted "screaming" at his kids on some benches at 1400 S. El Camino Real. The person who called police said the kids looked "scared."

4:46 p.m. - Fraud - Someone used a fake $20 bill at the Whole Foods Market at 1000 Park Place. The suspect's license place was reportedly taken down.

7:37 p.m. - Disturbance - Four to five people were spotted in a white Chevy pickup truck in the area of 1000 Park Place; one passenger was allegedly waiving a black handgun out the window.

12:23 p.m. - Incident - A homeless person was seen with all his belongings, sleeping in a planter box near an animal hospital on 37th Avenue.

6:46 p.m. - Burglary - The incident was reported in the underground level parking lot of the Cheesecake Factory and Macy's at Hillsdale Shopping Center.

Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011

6:32 p.m. - Suspicious Person - A woman in her 30s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with blond hair, and wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, was seen dancing in high heels around a store on Bovet Road.

7:36 p.m. - Theft - A suspect stole clothing from the Old Navy at 3000 Bridgepointe Parkway and was seen leaving in a Gold four-door Cadi.

11:41 p.m. - Disturbance - A woman called police and said she was in a fight with her husband and that he grabbed a knife on East 39th Avenue.
