UPDATE: Pepper Spray Found at Hillsdale High
Hazmat crews were dispatched to the high school at 10:42 a.m.
San Mateo firefighters Friday morning were dispatched to , located at 3115 Del Monte St., to a report of a hazardous materials situation.
According to FireDispatch.com, the incident was reported at 10:42 a.m.
Hillsdale High officials sent the following note to parents after the incident was cleared Friday afternoon:

"Police, fire, and hazmat teams have determined that the campus is safe for all students and staff. The investigation determined that the small amount of material found was consistent with pepper spray. All parts of the campus are now open and accessible to the school community."
