Two people were injured in a double shooting on Sunday at a Burger King restaurant in Redwood City.
Police responded to reports of the shooting at the Burger King at 2201 Middlefield Road shortly before 8 p.m. Officers found one victim on the restaurant floor suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
While assisting that victim, police found a second victim also suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

Witnesses told police that the suspects were together in the parking lot of the restaurant when they were fired on.
Suspects fled on foot to a white Buick with tinted windows.

The two victims were transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment, police said.
