Bicyclist Dies After Colliding With Car in Menlo Park

The crash occurred Wednesday morning.

A bicyclist who was struck by a vehicle in Menlo Park Wednesday morning has died, police said.

Richard Buckley, 64, of Redwood City was taken to Stanford Medical Center after he was struck by a vehicle shortly after 11 a.m.

The crash occurred on Bayfront Expressway at Chilco Street, according to the Menlo Park Police Department.

The driver of the vehicle cooperated with investigators and showed no sign of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to police.

The incident is under investigation and police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call police at (650) 330-6300.
