Broken Down Train Near San Mateo Station Causes Caltrain Delays

Caltrain was advising passengers to expect delays Monday morning because of a broken-down train in the San Mateo area.

Southbound train No. 314 malfunctioned and is stopped just north of the San Mateo station, Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.

Trains were single-tracking around the disabled train as of 7:50 a.m.
