Cypress Lawn invites the public to its 16th Annual Memorial Day Program to be held on Monday, May 28, 2012, at 1 pm at the cemetery's West Gardens. All veterans and veterans who have been laid to rest at Cypress Lawn in the past year will be honored for their service to the country. Every year, families of deceased veterans donate their flags to our Avenue of Flags. It is indeed a sight to behold. Please join our staff in honoring our fallen heroes.

And all despite the Master Plan for that site in San Mateo that seems to require an ice skating rink or similar recreational facility AT THAT SITE, and all despite the fact the Ice Chalet would like to continue operations there. The Developer has made it difficult to impossible for any ice rink to operate there (tricky it seems)....so they can get a cookie cutter retail outlet in ? .....very, very sad for the youth of the community.
