Established in 1944, Junipero Serra High School is a private Catholic college preparatory high school, serving grades…More 9 through 12. It offers a range of classes, including AP and Honors options. It accepts only young men, but children of all faiths can attend. Located in the heart of the Peninsula between San Francisco and Silicon Valley, Serra students take advantage of all that the Bay Area has to offer. Teachers help students to explore their talents in a variety of places—academics, the arts, athletics, clubs and service learning experiences—all in the context of our core values of Faith, Wisdom, Service, Community and Leadership. </p> <p>In August, they constructed a brand new Center for the Arts and Sciences. The $21 million project includes a major expansion of the aquatic facilities.</p> <p>The school also affiliates itself with other nearby schools which allows Junipero Serra to remain single gender, while providing significant coeducational opportunities on each other’s campuses, including classes, retreats, dances, clubs, music and drama programs.</p>
