The main branch of the city's public library system is in a new, three-story building just west of El Camino Real downtown. There's a third-floor cafe where patrons can enjoy coffee and baked goods and the proceeds benefit the library system. The main branch is open seven days a week. It has computer workstations, and books, DVDs and other media can be reserved online. There is some free parking on the street and in a nearby lot.
