Rubio's is a chain out of San Diego that has five locations in the Bay Area. It creates Tex-Mex style dishes using fresh ingredients. Years ago you might have heard stories about a southern California taco chain that serves up the best fish tacos; this is the place. It also offers tacos and burritos filled with chicken, beef and shrimp. Everything is made to order with ingredients of your choosing. Currently it is offering $1.25 tacos every Tuesday after 2:30.
