San Francisco Giants' World Series Trophy Returning to Peninsula

The San Francisco Giants' World Series trophy tour continues with stops in South San Francisco and San Bruno on Monday.

The trophies from the Giants' 2010 and 2012 titles first will first be on display from 2 to 4 p.m. in South San Francisco at the Joseph Fernekes Building, located at 781 Tennis Drive.

From 6 to 8 p.m., the trophies will head to San Bruno where they will be displayed at the Veteran's Memorial Recreation Center at 251 City Park Way.

The event is free and open to the public.

Fans will be able to have their picture taken with the trophies and can make a voluntary donation to the Junior Giants baseball program.

Later this week, the trophies will continue to travel around the Bay Area with stops at Hayward, Walnut Creek and East Palo Alto.
