Go Music Students! Go Giants!

Kids from the San Mateo-Foster City School District will sing the national anthem at the start of tonight's game.

San Mateo-Foster City School District parents have an extra reason to tune into the Giants game tonight, as students from the district’s music program are scheduled to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” in front of a sellout crowd.

The performance caps a fundraising drive by the San Mateo-Foster City Education Foundation, which for nearly two decades has worked to enrich the educational experience of San Mateo and Foster City schoolchildren.

Hundreds of Giants tickets have been been sold in this year’s drive, along with Giants paraphernalia and community donations, according to the group’s website.
