After-School Enrichment Program Opens

Mayor Jack Matthews was on hand Saturday for the ribbon-cutting ceremony at Kumon.

Kumon, a national after-school math and reading enrichment program, has opened its newest center in San Mateo at 255 South B Street.

Mayor Jack Matthews joined other officials at the ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday for Kumon, which helps 200,000 students from preschool through high school with math and reading skills throughout the U.S.
