Voting Centers Open for May 3 Election

Though it's a mail-in ballot, this week voters do have the option of casting their ballot in person.

The May 3 special election is through mail-in ballot, but voters who prefer to make their choice in person can visit one of several voting centers that opened their doors today.

This week only, voters may go to any of the county’s special voting centers to cast their votes in person. Most convenient for San Mateo voters may be the located at 40 Tower Road. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, May 3.

Other nearby voting centers are:

  • The Daly City Voting Center, 699 Serramonte Boulevard
  • The Millbrae Voting Center, 477 Lincoln Circle

Both are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visit the Elections Office website for a full list of voting center locations.

Voters can cast their ballots at Elections Offices in San Mateo and Redwood City up until the day of the election, May 3. Or they can drop off their mail-in ballots at any city hall in the county. Or they can just use the U.S. mail.

I think the issue is much larger than whether children will experience stress. That ice rink is aRead More local institution, dating back at least to when Fashion Island was there. It's terrible for communities to lose so many landmarks and connect us to the past.
