POLL: Where Will You Vote on Election Day?

Tell us your preference in this poll.

The polls for the Presidential Primary Election will open Tues., June 5 at 7:00 a.m., but many local voters choose to cast their votes ahead of time with mail-in ballots.

California law also allows voters to cast their ballot any time during the 29 day period preceding an election at the Elections Office.

According to Mark Church, San Mateo County Chief Elections Officer & Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder, for mail-in ballots to be counted, they must be received by the Elections Office on or before Election Day by 8:00 p.m. (Postmark does not matter; ballot must be RECEIVED by 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.)

For a full list of candidates and proposition and measure information, go to www.shapethefuture.org.

Take our poll and tell us how you plan to vote.

I think the issue is much larger than whether children will experience stress. That ice rink is aRead More local institution, dating back at least to when Fashion Island was there. It's terrible for communities to lose so many landmarks and connect us to the past.
