Restaurant Closed Due to Presence of Rodents

Little Sichuan in downtown San Mateo was forcibly closed Thursday for health code violations.

According to the San Mateo County Health System, the restaurant at 168 E. 4th Ave. in San Mateo was forcibly closed Thursday for major health code violations.

The website indicates the "presence of vermin, rodents, insects, birds or animals" was the reason for Little Sichuan's sudden closure.

As of press time, there are no notices of any scheduled administrative hearings regarding this matter, and no word on if or when the restaurant will re-open.
