Parravano would have gotten away with a new engine for his boat the Anna B had it not been for a whistle blower. During the grant application investigation Parravano was unable to provide the requested documentation to back up his claims. That documentation would have included fuel receipts and Fish and Game landing receipts. Parravano buys wholesale fish and sells it at Bay Area farmers markets. He does not catch the fish he sells. He is also paid to sit on many Federal, Sate and Local boards and commissions.
