Obama Headed to a City Near You

President scheduled to arrive in Bay Area tonight to meet with business leaders on "how we can work together to win the future."

President Barack Obama is coming to the Bay Area today to talk about jobs, and although his exact destination is unknown, he is said to be planning a one-day visit with high-tech business leaders – making Silicon Valley a likely part of his visit.

According to reports, the planned private meetings will focus on research and development, education, green tech, innovation and job creation. The trip was announced Wednesday by the White House media affairs office.

A White House official told SFGate that the visit is “part of our ongoing dialogue with the business community on how we can work together to win the future, strengthen our economy, support entrepreneurship, and get the American people back to work.”
