The board of supervisors shall supervise the official conduct of all county officers, and officers of all districts.
This is not true, Rose Jacobs Gibson and Carole Groom were appointed not elected by the residents of San Mateo County, as a matter of fact Carole Groom was appointed by just 3 people one of them was Rose Jacobs Gibson who should have recused herself since she has benefited from the appointment. Also the description should say that as little as 3 Supervisors control a $1.8 B budget.
I say the private sector has paid enough. Vote NO!!!!!!!!!!!!
the Supervisors have failed to demonstrate their ability to spend within their budget, they gave a 3% raise to the Sheriff deputes unions and an 11% increase to the controller they just appointed. I am a "No" vote on C, the sales tax. I also recommend "Yes" on A, which is District vs At Large. "No" on B, the controller position to be appointed. This position should remain elected.
