Vault 164 Grand Opening to Benefit San Mateo PAL

The grand opening will raise money for the San Mateo Police Activities League.

Residents are invited to the grand opening of Vault 164, a fundraiser that will benefit the San Mateo Police Activities League.

The fundraiser, which is on Jan. 30, will feature an exclusive cocktail and tasting event at San Mateo's new upscale restaurant, located at 164 South B St. in the historic Crocker Bank building.

Vault 164, the latest enterprise from Bay Area restauranteur Dennis Berkowitz and family, offers contemporary American cuisine.

The fundraiser will include a special selection of Vault 164's menu from knishes to brussel sprout chips; Louisiana prawns; barbeque short ribs; gravalax; skirt steak and lump crab cakes; as well as beer, cocktails and desserts.

Tickets are $60 each and may be purchased online.
