UPDATE: Motorcyclist Injured in Crash with Big-Rig on Hwy. 92

The accident happened just before 8 a.m. and blocked two lanes of westbound Highway 92 in San Mateo.

 

A motorcyclist was injured in in San Mateo this morning, a California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer said.

The crash was reported just before 8 a.m. on westbound Highway 92 near U.S. Highway 101, CHP Officer James Evans said.

The motorcyclist was taken to Stanford Hospital, Evans said. He did not know the extent of the victim's injuries.

Two westbound lanes were blocked for more than an hour while the crash was cleared.

The accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
