String of Burglaries Plague Hillsborough

The burglaries occurred last week.

Police in Hillsborough are reminding residents to lock their cars and homes after a series of burglaries occurred in the city last week.

A home in the Jacaranda neighborhood was broken into at about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, police said. The suspect or suspects gained entry to a garage by smashing a window, which activated a security alarm, police said.

Nothing was taken from the home.
