San Mateo police have arrested two men suspected of robbing a 76 gas station at gunpoint late this morning.

The suspects, 32-year-old Alvaro Hernandez and 37-year-old Daniel Nerio, entered the gas station at 28th Avenue and El Camino Real at about 10 a.m. and brandished a handgun, San Mateo Police Sgt. Dave Norris said.

The men demanded money, then fled the store on foot, Norris said. No one was hurt during the robbery.
