6:58 a.m. - Auto Burglary - 3000 LOS PRADOS - Tools were stolen from a white van painted with "Alpine Mechanical."

9:06 a.m. - Suspicious Vehicle Stop - E 4TH AV/S SAN MATEO DR - A man wearing a gas mask with what turned out to be an inactive grenade was stopped in a maroon truck.

12:14 p.m. - Theft - 100 S KINGSTON ST - Theft of back license plate.

7:45 p.m. - Robbery - 2100 KEHOE AV - A boy was pushed after school and his iPhone and iPod Nano were taken.

4:15 p.m. - Auto Burglary - 200 W 39TH AV - An employee saw suspects trying to break into her white Toyota Camry.

5:58 p.m. - Hit-and-Run - BAKER WY/FASHION ISLAND - The black Chrysler involved was still there but the driver left the scene.

8:43 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - 200 CLARK DR - A man said somebody opened the back window to his house and a screen was thrown in the backyard.

Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012

8:33 a.m. - Stolen Vehicle - 400 N AMPHLETT BL - A white '96 dump truck was last seen Monday night.

10:54 a.m. - Residential Burglary - 1800 HEMLOCK AV - A neighbor said the garage door was open and things have been moved around while the residents weren't home.

1:22 p.m. - Theft - 300 HILLSDALE MALL - Six cell phones were taken.

8:35 p.m. - Theft - 2200 BRIDGEPOINTE PKY - Two suspects were seen shoplifting and leaving with a bag full of property.

10:36 p.m. - Auto Burglary - 2200 BRIDGEPOINTE PKY - Vehicle was locked, locks were broken.

Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012

6:26 p.m. - Theft - 0 LYONRIDGE LN - Someone came into the victim's garage and stole a bike, then drove away in a blue van.
