Police Investigate Residential Burglary in Hillsborough

The burglary occurred on Halloween day.

Police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Halloween in Hillsborough.

The crime, which happened on Sandra Drive between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., involved the suspect or suspects entering through a bathroom window, according to police.

A separate but possibly related incident also happened on Thursday, in the 200 block of Darrell Road at about 11:50 a.m.

That incident involved a man who knocked at an occupied resident. The man asked to use a faucet, but was turned away by the homeowner. That man is described as Hispanic, in his late 30s, 5 feet 8 inches or 5 feet 9 inches, about 180 lbs, and with brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing neutral clothing.
