Multi-Vehicle Crash Causes Backup on Hwy 92

At least eight vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash Tuesday morning.

A multiple-vehicle crash caused major traffic delays on state Highway 92 in San Mateo Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 9:21 a.m. on Highway 92 at Ralston Avenue and involved up to eight vehicles, the CHP reported.

Southbound U.S. Highway 101 was backed up at least to Burlingame as of 9:45 a.m. due to the crash, though all lanes of Highway 92 were reportedly opened as of 10:10 a.m.

Further details were not immediately available.
