UPDATE: All Lanes Re-Open Following Major Injury Crash on 280

The crash was reported just before 10 a.m. at Hillcrest Avenue in Millbrae.

UPDATE: All lanes of southbound Interstate Highway 280 were re-opened around noon.

Lanes of southbound Interstate Highway 280 in Millbrae were blocked Monday morning due to a major-injury crash, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 9:57 a.m. on Highway 280 near Hillcrest Avenue, the CHP reported.

A small white utility truck reportedly spun off the road into a ditch and may have caught on fire.

The CHP issued a Sig-alert in response to the crash at 10:33 a.m., indicating traffic would be heavy in the area for at least a half hour.
