All lanes of the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge have been reopened after an injury accident blocked all westbound lanes for about an hour early Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP announced the lanes had been reopened at around 1:30 a.m.
The collision was first reported at 12:06 a.m. and involved three vehicles: a silver Dodge Neon, a taxi and another vehicle on westbound state Route 92.
The extent of the injuries remains unclear, but at least one passenger suffered a neck injury, according to the CHP.
A sig-alert was issued at 12:23 a.m. alerting motorists that all lanes of the bridge were blocked.
