Hillsborough Honors New Police Chief

Police, city and county officials gathered at the Hillsborough Town Hall Thursday to honor the town's new police chief, Mark O'Connor.

The town Hillsborough celebrated its new Police Chief Mark O'Connor at a ceremony Thursday afternoon.

O'Connor, who is the town's eighth police chief, takes over the post from former Chief Matt O'Connor, who happens to be his brother.

Among those in attendance at Thursday's ceremony were San Mateo Police Chief Susan Manheimer, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe and other local police officials and dignitaries.
