Corsiglia's attorney, Robert Canny, said he could no longer represent Corsiglia because of a conflict.

The entry of plea is now scheduled to take place at the same location at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 7.

Corsiglia continues to be held in San Mateo County Jail without bail and faces charges including two counts of murder, vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence causing injury and death.

On July 28 at about 12:16 p.m., Corsiglia,  and was driving on a suspended license, apparently Arnulfo Picazo and Usbaldo Gomez, who were stopped at a light at Sneath Lane and El Camino Real. Corsiglia also struck two other vehicles that were stopped at the intersection.

, who had just left the baptism of Gomez's 1-year-old daughter at St. Bruno's Church in San Bruno, were pronounced dead at the scene, while four people, including at least two children, in the other two cars were sent to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said Corsiglia suffered from a seizure disorder, within four years, from 2007 to 2011. Corsiglia's driving license was permanently revoked in June 2011.

Despite the license suspension and the seizure disorder, Corsiglia decided to drive anyway, Wagstaffe said, which is why prosecutors are pursuing murder charges.
