Crime Blotter, March 25-31: Wire Stealer, Five-Man Fight, Woman in a Baby Blue Dress

Friday

7:23 a.m. - Theft - An unknown suspect stole wire from a fenced-off construction site on the 3100 block of Del Monte Street.

11:40 a.m. - Fraud - An unknown suspect used someone's credit card to make fraudulent purchases.

12:03 p.m. - Disturbance - A man was reportedly trying to pick up his 4-year-old daughter from a day care on the 1700 block of Washington Street, but police learned during the call that a court order exists denying him that.

8:56 p.m. - Assault - A woman in an emergency room on the 3200 block of Kimberly Way told staff there that she had been assaulted by some people, and she had a list of their names.

10:27 p.m. - Residential Burglary - A resident returned home to the 1700 block of Washington Street and noticed that the back door seemed forced open and that some items were missing from the house.

Saturday

1:45 a.m. - Fight - Some people got into a fight near the Mandala Lounge on the 100 block of East of 25th Avenue, according the bar's bouncer.

12:26 p.m. - Disturbance - An unknown person entered the Hillsdale Market at 200 East Hillsdale Boulevard and broke a display.

3:12 p.m. - Restraining Order Violation - Someone on the 300 block of Ramona Street violated a restraining order through a text message.

Sunday

10:58 a.m. - Fight - Five men got into a fight on the 900 block of Laurelwood Drive.

11:48 a.m. - Disturbance - An unknown man in a blue jacket and blue jeans was standing in the street near North Delaware with a beer bottle. When police arrived he was standing on the sidewalk.

6:06 p.m. - Disturbance - A woman was acting crazy on the first block of Powell Street, walking in and out of other people's yards and throwing trash around.

8:04 p.m. - Arrest - Police chased a suspect over a wall and three fences near the 200 block of East Hillsdale Boulevard.

7:23 a.m. - Domestic Disturbance - A boyfriend was at the front of his girlfriend's house on the 100 block of North Bayshore Boulevard. He was trying to get in, but the woman was able to lock him out.

Monday

10:04 a.m. - Residential Burglary - An unknown suspect broke into a building on the 800 block of North Delaware Street and stole a laptop.

2:14 p.m. - Suspicious Person - A woman on the 100 block of North Fremont Street thought someone was stalking her and wanted to speak with an officer.

5:21 p.m. - Attempted Burglary - A man chased off some subjects from his backyard on the 400 block of West Hillsdsdale Boulevard.

Tuesday

10:17 a.m. - Accident - Two people got into a car accident on Baldwin Avenue and North El Camino Real. The woman was complaining of pain but refused medical attention, while the other driver had no insurance.

11:30 a.m. - Disturbance - A man on the 400 block of East Bellevue Avenue told police his neighbor hit him while the neighbor was pulling out of his driveway. The man doesn't think it was an accident, because the two have had ongoing issues.

3:14 p.m. - Fraud - A woman in a baby blue dress was trying to cash a fraudulent check for $1,800 at a bank on the 2900 block of El Camino Real.

8:23 p.m. - Hit and Run - Someone driving a gray Honda Civic hatchback on the 2200 block of Bridgepointe Parkway caused an accident and then fled the scene.

Wednesday

11:16 a.m. - Overdose - Someone took Vicadin and other meds and ended up overdosing on the 3500 block of Alameda de Las Pulgas.

4:53 p.m. - Missing Senior - A woman told police that her mother had gone missing from the 700 block of Laurel Avenue. Police found the woman.

6:12 p.m. - Restraining Order - A man with a restraining order from a woman was calling the woman on her cell phone on the 2000 block of Parrott Drive.

Thursday

12:43 a.m. - Disturbance - Someone's girlfriend was throwing things around in a home on the 3600 block of Oso Street.

1:10 p.m. - Residential Burglary - An unknown suspect broke into a garage on the 600 block of Cypress Avenue.

3:46 p.m. - Embezzlement - An assistant manager was arrested for embezzling money from a store at 400 Hillsdale Mall.

6:26 p.m. - Disturbance - A woman was backing up in her car on the 200 block of North Eldorado Street when two woman got upset with her and started yelling at her.

10:52 p.m. - Robbery - Two men robbed another man on the first block of Fifth Avenue, in Central Park, at knife point. They took nothing from him, but did cause him a minor injury.
