The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office is investigating three residential burglaries that occurred in the San Mateo Highlands neighborhood in the past two days.
The residential burglaries were reported in the 1200 block of Laurel Hills, the 1400 bock of Tarrytown and the 2200 block of Allegheny, according to the sheriff's office.
The suspect or suspects apparently forced open a rear door to enter the homes.
A vehicle possibly linked to two of the burglaries is a dark-colored four-door Kia occupied by three black males and one black female, the sheriff's office reported.
Residents are asked to be on the lookout for suspicious behavior and to call 911 to report any unusual activity in the neighborhood.
