Woodside Home Sells for $117.5 Million
The sale breaks the previous record of $100 million paid for a Los Altos Hills home.
The San Mateo Daily Journal reported Monday that a home in Woodside has shattered the previous record as the most expensive home ever sold.
A "sprawling Woodside estate" recently closed the books on a sale for $117.5 million. That breaks the previous record of $100 million for a Los Altos Hills estate in 2011.
The home reportedly features a pool with an 1,100-square-foot poolhouse, a nearly 800-square-foot detached library, a 700-square-foot "retreat" building, and more.
