Education Day

Education Day - A Maker Faire field trip preview tour opportunity for grades K–12. Inspire your students at Young Makers Day, a unique preview of Maker Faire Bay Area .  On Friday, May 20, 2011, students get a sneak peek at some of our exhibits and workshops as Maker Faire is being set up for the weekend. Young Makers meet and interact with selected Makers, participate in some Make activities, and get a glimpse of the set-up process for this large-scale event. We encourage students who come on Friday to return on either Saturday or Sunday with complimentary return admission for all attendees.  Groups of 15 or more students are welcome.  Groups must remain together for their entire visit.  Every class gets a subscription to Make magazine. Sign-ups are required. Please note that this event is Not the “real” Maker Faire with all that’s happening on the weekend, but a special behind-the-scenes tour + workshops!
