Human Rights Day

Together, we have more power than any one to stand up for the rights of everyone. Rise and be outraged by the shooting of a 15-year-old child who demanded an education, the mass rape of women as a tool of oppression, and the systematic murder of journalists who dared to speak truth to power.

Join us in raising awareness of human rights around the world with student demonstrations of outrage, poster presentations, a silent gallery, and guerilla theater. Together, we can exercise our power to make the world a more just place.

Human Rights Day is presented by Jon Kitamura's, Tim Maxwell's, and Jeramy Wallace's English 100 classes in collaboration with the Alpha Gamma Sigma Human Rights Committee.
