Treat your family to Bruce Steivel's Nutcracker


For 42 years Peninsula Ballet Theatre has delighted and entertained Bay Area families with Nutcracker and this year promises the best of local professional dance talent.


This holiday season prepare to be transported on a magical journey with Clara and the Nutcracker Prince.  From the heroic battle against the Mouse King, travel through the Land of the Snowflakes and on to the Kingdom of the Sweets. There you will meet the Sugar Plum Fairy and be entertained by the wonders of the Land of Enchantment.  


Nutcracker is everyone’s favorite family friendly ballet directed by internationally renowned Bruce Steivel, Artistic Director of Peninsula Ballet Theatre. Following the exquisite, sparkling finale audience members are invited on-stage to meet the dancers. You will applaud every breathtaking moment as you enjoy the magic that only Nutcracker brings.

Yes, the world does not need another national chain retail store or restaurant, which is surely what they're planning to put in there.

Yes Bren, agree with you....good point.....really what it seems to come down to is money vs. theRead More good of the community and richness of traditions. And all despite the Master Plan for that site in San Mateo that seems to require an ice skating rink or similar recreational facility AT THAT SITE, and all despite the fact the Ice Chalet would like to continue operations there. The Developer has made it difficult to impossible for any ice rink to operate there (tricky it seems)....so they can get a cookie cutter retail outlet in ? .....very, very sad for the youth of the community.
