Masterworks Chorale presents Carl Orff's ever-popular Carmina Burana. This thrilling work deals with fate, drinking, and love. Our special 50th anniversary presentation will feature a full orchestra and special guests, including Dan Glover, pianist, the Chamber Singers of Hillsdale High School, the Ragazzi Boys Chorus, and the Valley Concert Chorale. We are thrilled to have the Sarah Bush Dance Project join us, making this a multimedia presentation that will be truly spectacular!

One of the world’s most popular choral works, Carmina Burana bursts with irresistible rhythmic energy and exhilarating music in its exploration of love, life, and fate. This gala 50th Anniversary Program includes Beethoven’s exquisite Choral Fantasy with pianist Daniel Glover, and Brahms’ lovely Four Songs for Women’s Voices, Two Horns, and Harp. Masterworks Chorale welcomes the Valley Concert Chorale, the Hillsdale High School Chamber Singers, Ragazzi Boys Chorus, and the Masterworks Orchestra in this collaborative venture, with soprano Shawnette Sulker, baritone Igor Vieira, and tenor Brian Thorsett. The marvelous Sarah Bush Dance Project tops off the 275 performers creating this dazzling production of Carmina Burana. Join us for a spectacular musical experience!
