Family Hires P.I. to Find Michelle Le

Danvile-based The Frame Group to assist in search for missing nursing student.

The family of missing San Mateo resident Michelle Le has retained a private investigator to help .

Family members announced Tuesday that they have hired Danville-based private investigation firm The Frame Group “to help develop information regarding (her) whereabouts.”

“The search is not over, and we’re working with Michael Frame to directly ask whoever may know any information to step forward,” said family spokeswoman Krystine Dinh, Le’s cousin.

She added that the firm “is working independently of the Hayward Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, both of which are also involved in helping us find Michelle.”

In an open letter signed by Michael Frame, the firm appealed to anyone who might have information on Le’s disappearance, stating that “We understand that witnesses are at times reluctant to come forward or contact law enforcement for a variety of reasons. … We are here to help you through this process while you remain anonymous.”

Le, a 26-year-old nursing student, went missing on May 27 after stepping out for a break from her duties at Kaiser Medical Center in Hayward.
