Bay Area to See Gray Skies, Showers Wednesday

The drizzly weather is expected to continue until Thursday morning.

Gray skies and drizzle were in the forecast for the Bay Area Wednesday, but no heavy rainfall is expected, a national weather service forecaster said.

Light rain was hitting the North Bay Wednesday morning and was expected to move south to the San Francisco area by Wednesday afternoon, forecaster Steve Anderson said.

"The roads will probably be wet for the commute" this evening, he said.

The drizzly weather will continue until Thursday morning, then skies will clear through Friday, Anderson said.

The weekend could see more rain and a slight drop in temperatures, with lows in the 40s in the greater Bay Area and in the 30s in the North Bay and East Bay, he said.

I think the issue is much larger than whether children will experience stress. That ice rink is aRead More local institution, dating back at least to when Fashion Island was there. It's terrible for communities to lose so many landmarks and connect us to the past.
