Verizon Wireless’ Network Ranks Highest in the U.S. and California in Two National Studies

This week, Verizon Wireless came out on top in two national studies of U.S. wireless carriers. J.D Power’s Network Quality Study Vol. 1 ranked Verizon Wireless highest for network performance in all regions of the U.S., while RootMetrics ranked Verizon Wireless first in national categories of Overall Performance, Reliability, Data, Call and Text. In RootMetrics’ state-by-state rankings, Verizon Wireless also scored highest in California.

According to RootMetrics: “At the end of the day, however, numbers don’t lie: Verizon owns national bragging rights in our RootScore Awards, sweeping our Overall, Call, Data and Text categories. With vast LTE coverage and consistently strong performances across our testing, Verizon also finished on top in our Reliability Index, making Verizon the nation’s most reliable network in our national results.”

As part of its commitment to ensure its customers have a powerful, reliable network, Verizon Wireless invested $9.4 billion in its wireless network alone during 2013. Since being founded in 2000, Verizon Wireless has invested nearly $8.5 billion in California to ensure its customers have the most powerful network available.
