A sales growth in Sleep Train's newly opened stores in San Mateo and Napa has prompted the comapny's search for 40 new employees in the Bay Area.
Sleep Train is preparing to open an additional two or three locations in the region by the year's end, after finding success in selling mattress and other related products in San Mateo and Napa.
“Our business is booming in this market, driving the demand for a larger sales staff in existing stores as well as new sales people for additional new store locations,” Matt Anderson, vice president of training and development at Sleep Train, said in a statement.
“We’re excited to be growing our employee-owned team and are looking for individuals who wish to be part of a motivated, talented team and fun, thriving company,” he said.
Sleep Train offers new employee-owners an extensive five-week training program, comprehensive benefits, and an emphasis on corporate philanthropy with paid-time for volunteering.
Those hired can look forward to participation in the company’s employee stock ownership program after 12 months of employment and rapid advancement with the chance to attend an annual leadership retreat.
