Michael Kors to Open at Hillsdale Shopping Center

The store will be the company's first San Mateo location.

is slated to open a 1,800 square-foot Michael Kors store on Thursday.

The world-renowned designer label store will the company's first in San Mateo.

The new space will be located in Macy’s Center Court, in the shopping center and will offer accessories, footwear, watches, jewelry, men’s and women’s ready to wear and more.

The special grand opening event will invite shoppers to check-out the latest product from Michael Kors, in its first San Mateo location.

The grand opening takes place at 10 a.m. Thursday.

And all despite the Master Plan for that site in San Mateo that seems to require an ice skating rink or similar recreational facility AT THAT SITE, and all despite the fact the Ice Chalet would like to continue operations there. The Developer has made it difficult to impossible for any ice rink to operate there (tricky it seems)....so they can get a cookie cutter retail outlet in ? .....very, very sad for the youth of the community.
