Little Goblins Invade Downtown San Carlos

From little lions to superheroes, hundreds of children dressed up in their Halloween costumes swarmed Laurel Street Friday to trick-or-treat at local businesses.

The Halloween spirit was in full swing this weekend in downtown San Carlos.

Hundreds of tots, from San Mateo and Foster City as well, experienced some pre-holiday fun at the city's annual Goblin Walk on Laurel Street.

It was wall to wall cuteness from animal costumed babies to dogs dressed up for the occasion. Strollers and families packed the street and sidewalks for blocks, as the children trick or treated at local businesses.

I think the issue is much larger than whether children will experience stress. That ice rink is aRead More local institution, dating back at least to when Fashion Island was there. It's terrible for communities to lose so many landmarks and connect us to the past.
