Out of the five restaurants we as places to take Mom for brunch on Mothers' Day, the received the most votes.

The options were:

Here's some more about the winning restaurant, which captured 71 percent of the votes:

The family-owned and operated Pantry Family Restaurant offers tasty breakfast food to the San Mateo community. The menu includes classic items such as omelets, pancakes, waffles and bacon. The restaurant is warm and inviting, catering to families and groups, and boasts a friendly staff.

A toilet and an astro turf field are useless to ice skaters. I smell something rotten in the Mayor and the City Council's excuses. At least one skater must have a parent or family member who is an attorney with some sense of decency to do the work pro bono.
