Optimize Your Health, Fitness & Vitality with Brien Shamp: Never Go Hungry and Never Get Full

If you are hungry, your brain is in need of fuel ASAP.

If you are hungry, your brain is in need of fuel ASAP. In this state, it is hard to think rationally because your blood sugar level is low and it needs to be raised in order to feel better. Also, in this state one tends to eat more and faster than they should to satisfy their need.

Eat to a point of satisfaction and then clear your plate. If you are at a restaurant, ask the waiter for a to go container for your next meal. You do not have to eat the whole meal, contrary to some of our parent’s prior conditioning. Anyone ever heard the common statement, “Clear your plate or you will not be able to leave the table.”

If you stuff yourself, you may not want to eat in 2-4 hours, so Never Get Full. Eating multiple meals per day is one of the keys to reducing physiological stress, balancing hormones, reducing fat, decreasing blood pressure, optimizing mood, improving sleep quality and feeling your overall best.
