Optimize Your Health, Fitness & Vitality with Brien Shamp: Green tea for a flat belly

You may be interested to know there’s a beverage that may help reduce belly fat.

You may be interested to know there’s a beverage that may help reduce belly fat.  That beverage is green tea.

An ingredient in green tea called catechins stimulates the burning of calories and speeds the loss of belly fat.  So pour yourself a glass and drink your way to a slimmer you.  Be sure that your green tea is unsweetened and calorie free.

Instructions:

  • Put fresh cold water into the kettle on the stove.  Green tea should be heated to between 140 and 185 F.  Sliding a cooking thermometer into the spout as you heat your water will help you achieve the desired heat.
  • Preheat your cup or teapot with hot water before adding your water and green tea. This prevents a drop in temperature when you pour the heated water into the cup or teapot.  If using tea bags, it is one tea bag per 8 oz. water in a cup.  If using loose tea, it is 1 tsp. of loose tea per 8 oz. of water. When using loose tea, don't over-pack the basket or tea ball you are filling.  Tea leaves need room to expand to give the best flavor.

You're wrong on the temp. You should never have extreme heat not boiling or your green tea will come out bitter. Organic tea is the healthiest. Korean Ginseng also another option.

Among all the supporters isn't there one competent attorney who can get an injunction to keep theRead More rink from being destroyed and who can sue SPI Holding, and if necessary the City, to enforce the Master Plan Agreement? A toilet and an astro turf field are useless to ice skaters. I smell something rotten in the Mayor and the City Council's excuses. At least one skater must have a parent or family member who is an attorney with some sense of decency to do the work pro bono.

To close the ice rink is a crime. I had this conversation years ago with Peter Pau, the man whoRead More built it. We need places for children to recreate. When we send them to juvenile hall, we wring our hands and wonder why! No skate board parks in convenient places and now the skating rink. Why are our children the ones to sacrafice?
